I BLAME BATMAN.

It’s fair to say that the Dark Knight / Caped Crusader played a large part in my chosen career as a writer of ads and all things marketing-related. I devoured comic books from an early age – not only for their visual appeal and graphic content, but especially for their creative use of words and their unique style of story development. My love of words grew from my love of comics, with additional credit to Dr. Seuss, Charles M. Shulz and, as I grew older, other, more “mature” writers and poets.

As far as I can remember, I've also been a pop culture junkie. And I've always been drawn to advertising and the power of words to sell. I spent many a childhood day creating my own comic books. Naturally, they always included homemade ads. So it's no surprise that I find myself working in advertising and marketing in Gotham (New York) City, as an associate creative director, senior copywriter, and communications professional. And I’m still pretty crazy about Batman.
